The Roscongress Foundation and the Institute of Far Eastern Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IFES RAS) have signed a cooperation agreement. The parties have agreed on the establishment of partnership and the development of long-term efficient cooperation.

“The Roscongress Foundation pays special attention to the Far Eastern region. The Eastern Economic Forum has become a traditional point of attraction for Asia-Pacific countries, for Russian and foreign development institutions, investors, business representatives and public officials. Therefore, expansion and intensification of partner relations is an integral part of Foundation’s activities and one of its key tasks. We are glad that in the nearest future we will be able to join efforts with the Institute of Far Eastern Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences to strengthen joint expertise and establish new relevant areas of activity,” said CEO and Chairman of the Roscongress Foundation Alexander Stuglev.
“After signing an agreement with the Roscongress Foundation, our horizons as well as our opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation both in information sharing and joint activities as part of the Institute’s competences have been expanding. In particular, we are very interested in the Eastern Economic Forum where we could organize events and attract our foreign partners in order to discuss and find shared views on relevant modern issues and ways to implement joint projects in various areas in the interests of Russia,” said Acting Director of IFES RAS, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Alexey Maslov.
